Choosing the site of the national capital
The people in this photo are dressed in costumes similar to those worn by the families who lived on the Duntroon Estate in the early 1900s. Notice the long dresses, petticoats and hats or bonnets. Do these clothes look like yours? How are they the same? How are they different?
